‘Sad girls at bus stops’

Is an ongoing series of drawings created at bus stops in Reading since February 2020. The works are created with a sense of urgency, time limited, full of spontaneity, and improvisation through the employment of diverse and experimental materials and techniques. The drawings often appear hesitant, wavering, leaky lines caress the paper, each mark, seeking to describe the emotional state of the girl at the bus stop. Alone in the void. She presents us with a naked truth. The bus pulls up. And then she is gone….
