Monday 20th March 2020, a restless fear overwhelmed me and I cycled to the rivers at the back of my house. I started to cycle the same route, I had wandered as a 10 year old child, retracing the same footsteps. This was a place I wasn’t supposed to go on my own, but I did, and I would feel as free as a bird. I stood at the edge of the river exactly as I did as a child and I knew this place was full of fear, excitement danger and darkness.
A place where I could get LOST.
My daily walk led me to trace and document the river at one point. Following the desire routes of the water as it chooses the ‘path of least resistance.’
